When you submit a request on this site, your details are passed to up to three roofing contractors so they can quote your work. Under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and several other state privacy laws, that transfer may count as a sale or sharing of personal information even though the purpose is the one you asked for.
Opting out
You can tell us not to share your information. The practical effect is that we cannot match you with contractors, because sharing the request is the service. If you have already submitted a request, opting out stops any further sharing but cannot recall what has already been sent.
How to make a request
Email us at privacy@lakeelsinoreroofrepair.us with the subject line "Privacy request", and tell us:
- Which request you are making: opt out of sale or sharing, access what is held, correct it, or delete it.
- The name, email address and phone number you used, so we can find the record.
- Nothing else. Do not send documents, identification or payment details.
We respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer. There is no charge. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Authorised agents
An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission, which we may ask to see.
What we never do
We do not sell your information as a mailing list, we do not pass it to data brokers, and we do not use it for advertising profiles. The only routine transfer is to the contractors matched to your request.
